We held a Transgender Day of Remembrance ceremony during both the 9:15 and 11:15 services at Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church on Sunday. November 19, 2017. The short ceremony noted both the significance of the Transgender Pride flag, and the increasing number of murders of transgender persons, particularly transgender women of color.
